It's a Two Two Train Party

Sterling is loving trains right now.  Really he loves everything that goes, but since I had decided to get him a wooden train set for his birthday I decided to throw a train party to go with it for his second birthday.  We celebrated with a few of his friends from church.  Thankfully we got the part off before all of the snow arrived!  Everyone made it home safely and Sterling had such a great time.  He is still asking where his friends are.  I have to remind them that they are home and everyone has to stay home because of the snow.


My mom got better pictures I am sure, but due to the weather situation they had to scoot out soon after the party and I didn't think to get her camera card.  So hopefully I will have some more pictures from his party next week.

 Two Years Old!!

 All of the kids decorated their own train cars with candy and icing.  We put a powdered sugar/milk glaze on top since they wouldn't have much icing on them (my mother's genius idea) and I must say it was yummy.  I love birthday cake and I love icing, but those little cakes tasted like cake doughnuts!

Sterling loves his new tricycle and wants to wear the "Witening" McQueen helmet everywhere.  I can't wait to see my mom's pictures she was snapping away the whole time.  Thanks for all your help Mom with the party.
