I just wanted to update everyone (especially my grandparents) that I had a doctor's appointment yesterday. Everything went well. It took what seemed like forever to find the heartbeat, which was a bit scary. But after the nurse couldn't find it, my doctor finally did. It was good to have that reassurance as I approach 12 weeks that everything seems to be going well.
I think that the nausea is letting up some. I don't feel sick nearly as often as I did, but I think the exhaustion has gotten a little worse.
Also, I just found that Sterling's heartbeat was 126 at his first ultrasound (7 weeks). Thanks mom I had to hack into your email to find this information ;) This baby had a whopping 171 at 7 weeks. So I know those who go by heartbeat will be screaming girl. While we would LOVE to have a little girl, another little boy would be fun too. We could use most of Sterling's clothes and they could eventually be roomies, but I have to admit that I have already found the perfect shade of very pale pink to paint the nursery! Sterling answers "girl baby" every time we ask him if he wants a girl or a boy. I guess we will just have to wait 8 more weeks to find out for sure!

Yay! Thanks for the update. I'm with Sterling - "girl baby" here too. But another little man would be precious :)
Oh, and glad you're feeling better. Enjoy napping while Sterling does. It may be a while till you have two on the same schedule! :)
Oh Bethany, I know that was a scary few minutes for you but I'm SO glad they were able to find the heartbeat! I think GIRL too! We can't let the Vaughn boys tip the balance of power in the family :) Can't wait to find out!
