Our little ray of sunshine is 10 months now. Oh, how the time flies! She and Sterling are starting to play more and more together. Actually, this morning he was eating breakfast when I was putting her to bed for her morning nap. When he came back in he said, "Where is Ann Elizabeth?" "Taking a nap," I said. "But she wants to play with me." I loved this response, because usually he can't wait for her to go to sleep. He's always wanting to get something out that with little pieces.
Ann Elizabeth is such an affectionate girl. We always get reports from the nursery that she has been kissing all of the other children. Sterling has even embraced her slobbery kisses, at least sometimes!
She loves to do anything Sterling is doing and follows him around like a baby chick. She can say "Mama" which is now rare, "Dada" or Daddy", "Ah Dah" for all done, and "St" for Sterling this is my favorite because it is just a sound, no vowel to go with it. She just started this one last week, or at least we just picked up on it last week. She starts saying it when she wakes up in the morning. When I change her diaper and she starts in with "St" or Dada" and cranes her neck looking out the door for them. She lights up when she sees either one of them!
She is pulling up on everything: tables, my leg, her crib. She can even go from the coffee table to the couch or anything that is close.
She is still such a happy baby, although she is still very vocal about getting what she wants! Of course it is hard to tell now, but I think she may be our strong-willed one.
We go to the cardiologist on Friday to check her heart again. We are praying that the hole is closed completely and we no longer have to make these visits, although I know that there is probably a good chance that it isn't since the doctor heard the murmur just a month ago.

Awww. Your girl sounds so wonderful! I know she is, of course, but it is so hard to believe how fast they grow & change & develop into their own little personality . . . or "a real person now" - isn't that what a family member said about Sterling? ;)
We'll be praying for the doctor's appointment. Please keep us posted.
