Christmas Pictures

Wow! It's been a crazy few weeks!  I haven't been lazy I've just been getting ready for Sterling's birthday party!  More on that to come.

During Christmas week we traveled the road to and from Sylacauga so many times.  We packed up to head to Sylacauga on Tuesday morning and hit the road after lunch.

We spent Tuesday night through Thursday afternoon seeing Nanie and Pop and KiKi and Colonel.  Sterling had a wonderful time and the grandparents love that as soon as he sees one of them he reaches for them immediately.

Thursday we traveled back home to attend our Christmas Eve service and wake up on Christmas morning in our own home for the first time since we have been married.  Sterling woke up Christmas morning and Alex and I opened his presents.  He was so funny because he wouldn't tear the paper.  He kept spreading it back out over the packages!  Well, I guess I can't complain about a toddler who doesn't like to tear things!

Then we traveled back to Sylacauga to open gifts with KiKi and Colonel and then headed to Nanie and Pop's house where we were greated by Sterling's cousins.  It was so much fun to watch him playing with them.  It seems that each time we are together he gets more and more interested in them.  He was right in the middle of everything and loved every second of it.  He crawled around after all of them and I know he was itching to walk and run around with them.

Yea!

I love this outfit.  I got it at a consignment sale.  He looks like a little German boy, and when paired with a red shirt, an elf!

Colonel always plays shapes with me and I am getting pretty good at putting them through their hole.

Reading with Colonel, Sterling was so glad when he came home from South Carolina on Wednesday night.  He loves him some Colonel!

Christmas Morning

Sterling loves his Handy Manny tools, I think every boy has a strong attachment to his tools!

Christ has come and will come again, remembering the real reason for Christmas!  We loved celebrating the Advent season with our son.   I can't wait for next year when he can understand even more of what is going on!

Where do these pieces go?  Sterling loves puzzles.
Daddy playing with Sterling's toys

At my parent's house.  We always get coordinating Christmas pajamas and open gifts in them.
This was as much as he got into actually tearing the paper.

Playing with the girls in my new wagon!

Sterling and Max playing with his helicopter.  Sterling thought Max was so funny!

Sterling wasn't moving his fingers fast enough out of Max's way.  He kept getting his fingers smashed and strangely that made him laugh even more!  He loves his cousins!

Playing computer with Pop and Daddy.
Playing blocks with the boys.  Poor Tripp he was trying to build a tower and Max and Sterling kept taking it down.  He was sweet to be patient with them, especially Sterling!

When we got home Daddy put Sterling's car from Memaw together.  Thank you Memaw, I love it.  This car is great it is the new and improved Little Tikes car, of course many of us remember the old ones we all had as kids.  We loved ours well past the age we could ride in it.  Then we started riding arond on the top!.  This one is great because it has a removable floor board, for before he can reach the ground and a handle to push him around with, so he can enjoy it even now! And the door locks so I don't have to worry about him falling out.

I hope everyone had a very wonderful Christmas, and a great New Year!
