Girly Mobile

Am I the only one who is a little obsessed with pinterest?  I have such a long list of crafty things I want to do around the house and so many ideas of how to get organized from that site.  One thing I ran into while looking through the thousands of pins was a mobile made from ribbons.  I guess it isn't technically a mobile since it doesn't turn but it is cute and something interesting for her to look at all the same.  I think the one I saw was being used for a birthday party, but I thought it would be perfect for Ann Elizabeth's room.

Sorry I didn't take pictures step-by-step, but it is pretty easy.
You Need:
A quilting hoop (whatever size you want)
Ribbon
Hook Screw

Pick out ribbon to match your color scheme (it would be cute in a boy's nursery too).  I picked all different widths and textures.  Cut the length you want and tie to the hoop halfway down the ribbon.  Scoot them in close together for a more full look.

Loop two long ribbons through a hook screw and attach to hoop.  I attached a lace bow at the top because it seemed to need something.

Now I just have to figure out what else I am going to do on that wall.  It looks bare but it cuts off anything that would go through the center.  I am going to move the monogram letters to the other wall as the mirror had to be taken down, but that is a story for another day!

It's beautiful, Bethany! What a great idea! I, too, have been introduced to Pinterest - wow! :)
