4 Months

Ann Elizabeth is 4 months today!!  She has done a lot of growing this past month.  In a few days we will see just how much she has grown as she has her 4 month appointment coming up.  But for now I think she is around 13 lbs or so says the inaccurate get on the scale, get on the scale with the baby, subtract the difference method.  

She loves sitting or standing in your lap, and has even branched out to sitting the Bumbo or standing in the Jumperoo.  If she is awake she wants to be right in the middle of things.  Just like a girl, she likes to know what is going on.  She is always smiling and is laughing a lot more.  Especially at her big brother.

As much as Sterling loves his sister, Ann Elizabeth ADORES him already.  She laughs at him more than anyone.  Sterling was chasing his KerKer the other day while KerKer was carrying Ann Elizabeth.  Every time they rounded a corner and spotted one another Ann Elizabeth would burst into giggles.  Of course she was done by the time I could find my camera!  

She LOVES it when he talks to her.  Just the other morning Sterling was playing sweetly beside Ann Elizabeth as she was sitting in her Bumbo.  He was playing with a toy and talking to her.  He then left the room to eat his breakfast.  Ann Elizabeth started getting fussy, but as soon as he came back she had a big smile and cheered up.  

There is nothing sweeter than seeing your children love one another.  I hope it is always so!

 I thought this was reminiscent of the picture below of Sterling.  Everyone calls it his Gerber photo.  So I guess this is hers.  They are the same age in these photos as well.  It's fun seeing the similarities as well as the differences.  I think they look like siblings, but they both definitely have their own look.  And Sterling has a few pounds on Ann Elizabeth for sure!
