Dr. Seuss Day

I love staying at home with my darling Sterling, but there are times when my mind just fills with things I would do if I were still teaching.  I loved coming up with fun things to do especially on special days like today.

As I was reminded that today is Dr. Seuss's birthday, my mind began to think about all of the fun things I would do for "Read Across America Day."

I hope to be able to do all of those fun things with Sterling one day, but until then we will continue to read "Hop on Pop," "Green Eggs and Ham," "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish," and all of our other Dr. Seuss favorites.

Happy Birthday to a man who contributed so much to children's literature.

I know you were fabulous in the classroom and will do an amazing job teaching your son, as you already are. I have much to learn from you! Love to you all. And, thank you Dr. Seuss!
