So, I decided March or April would work out better. His birthday came and went and it was a beautiful sunny day. However, the day I chose April 22, was so cold. We had it at the park and the wind almost blew the kids' cupcakes away! But they had so much fun. I'm glad we had Sterling's jacket in the car.
Lightning McQueen had to stay in the box until the last minute. I think there was actually a point that the wind actually moved the box a bit.
"Cheese, now can I go play again!"
Sweet girlfriends! Ann Elizabeth is obsessed with chairs, especially pint-sized ones. She goes around the room looking for what she can back up to and sit on. Mom got these cute chairs for AE and S and she loves sitting in them when we play outside. Also, even thought it was so cold out Ann Elizabeth has no close-toed shoes with a hard sole. As she is walking now the soft-soled ones won't work outside, and as her foot is still a size 3 (barely) most shoes in her size are crib shoes. Any suggestions for shoes for babies with tiny feet? We had the opposite problem with Sterling! Crazy!
Happy Birthday Boy! He is getting so big!
Trying to blow the candles out as we try to make them stay lit. It didn't really work, but he thought he did it anyway.
KerKer came to take KiKi home on his way in from drill in South Carolina. He came in time to play for a while after the kids left. Ann Elizabeth enjoyed swinging with him and loves snuggling these days.

Josiah has a ridiculously tiny foot...he's still in size 5 shoes and is 3! We had good luck with robeez and found a few other good shoes at the stride rite outlet! I feel your pain!
I love the picture of Ann Elizabeth in her little chair. She is adorable. The swinging pictures of both Sterling and AE and your dad are, too. I'm sorry the party was still cold! I think Ella was in a 3 when she first started walking. I know they're not the nicest shoes, but I think I was able to find a pair of tennishoes and church shoes at Wal-Mart.
Rebekah, that is tiny! Sterling's are a 9 or 10. I didn't know Stride Rite had an outlet, good to know!! I had the opposite problem with Sterling. He had the fattest tallest feet and didn't fit in anything. I finally found shoes that would fit and bought them in every size! Thankfully they were really cheep Stride Rite knock offs!
Lynn thanks! Those little chairs have been so fun $5 at Wal-Mart. The ones she has are from Wal-Mart! They are the only ones so far that sell shoes in her size. I did find that Crocs and Sun Sol sell shoes in a 3 but I'm not sure I'm willing to invest if she isn't going to wear them long. I really wanted some white sandals for church all of Wal-Mart's had colorful flowers and stuff. She has some white sandals with a semi-hard bottom but if I let her wear them on the cement they will be ruined.
