Week Two

Here are some random pictures from this week.
Here are the adorable cookies my mother made for Ann Elizabeth's arrival.  I had to get a picture of them.

I'll be honest, Sterling has been watching a lot of Playhouse Disney, excuse me Disney Junior, lately.  That's what happens when mom doesn't get enough sleep because she is nine months pregnant or has a newborn.  He's never been one to "get into" cartoons.  When they say get up and do it with us he doesn't budge, but lately he has been getting very involved in what he is watching.  He wants to be reenacting what he is seeing.  It is too cute.  This is what he was doing the other day when he saw musical chairs being played on the tube.

Hopefully this cold weather will subside soon and we can play outside.  I have to be honest, I'm not a huge outdoors girl especially when I am eight or nine months pregnant, no matter how pretty it is.  And it is really pitiful when your son wants you to play sidewalk chalk and you can't reach over yourself to color on the ground.

Sterling helped Alex work in the flower beds this weekend.  He loved getting to dig in the dirt.  You can tell he is working because he has his tongue sticking out.

On Saturday we headed to Montgomery for Adeline and Max's birthday party.  This is pretty much what Ann Elizabeth did for the entirety of the party.

 Sterling loves riding bicycles.
 And playing with cousins.
Everyone wants to see babies with their eyes open.  So here are some awake pictures.

Sterling loves playing and helping take care of Ann Elizabeth.  Sometimes too much.  We are trying to learn the concept of gentle!  We got the play mat out today and Sterling wanted to know about the teething ring.  I explained that babies like to chew on them when their teeth come in, so he put it in Ann Elizabeth's mouth for her to chew on.

I loved this post, Bethany! Thank you for keeping us up to date on the happenings of your new life as a foursome. I already love AE so much (and the cookies were ADORABLE, Aunt Vicki!) Wanted to eat one, but wanted to kiss those sweet cheeks more :)
