What Have I Been Up To?

I am 36 weeks today.  That means 4 more weeks (maybe less) until Ann Elizabeth is here!!  With the pressure of 4 weeks I decided it was time to get some things done.  So this weekend we shipped Sterling off to see KiKi and KerKer and started the task of completing both rooms.
Most of the nursery is staying the same.  However I have added things here and there to make things more girlie.  One thing I have been working on is art to go above her crib.  Since Ann Elizabeth is too long to spell out and I love monograms I decided to do her monogram on canvases above her bed.

I have also been working on finishing up Sterling's room.  My grandmother as I mentioned is working on his adorable quilt.  I have been working on some big boy art for his room aka cars, trains, and boats, but the big project that we have been tackling this weekend is the closets!

The room has two closets and when it was a guest room Alex and I both had our own closet for storage.  When you have a whole extra closet in your house you tend to collect things (or I do).  So the first step of the process was to pull everything out into Sterling's room.

It was quite a mess. Then we had to make messes in other rooms to make room for the stuff created by this mess.  So I have several freshly organized spaces in the house now and Sterling's room is finally clean enough to start moving his clothes into his room.  However, that means that I also have the task of storing the clothes that have been hanging in his closet forever that no longer fit, because the nursery closets have to make room for pink and lace and frills!  Hopefully I will get the house back to some sense of normalcy before he gets back.

I LOVE, LOVE the monogram, Bethany ~ you are AMAZINGLY talented, and the letters (and backgrounds) look amazing!! I also loved the pictures of Sheriff Sterling, Valentine pics, as well as the lovely moss wreath. I look forward to having internet in our home again, so that I don't have to go so long in between post readings. ESPECIALLY, once little Ann Elizabeth gets here!! I love and miss you, and I can't BELIEVE you'll be holding your little girl in no time. I can't wait to get my hands on her either...
