Sterling has now cut all eight of his front teeth. He is clapping, waving and saying "dada" and "mama." (Although "mama" can only be heard when he is really upset.) And he is even getting very good at responding appropriately to "no." Well, sometimes; at least we know that he understands, which means we've had to start discipline :( And yesterday he decided it was time to crawl!
While he has been able to get around by scooting on his back across the hardwood and tile, he is always very content to just sit and play with his toys. So I still never really considered him "mobile." Yesterday we laid him on his stomach and put a toy out in front of him and he managed to "army crawl" his way to the toy.
He still prefers to stay in one spot as long as something fun to play with is in reach, but I know that this marks the beginning of true mobility. Now that he knows he can do it, I know it won't be long before there is something enticing out of reach and he leans over to crawl to it himself!

Bethany, i cannot believe how many teeth he has!! Can Isaac have some? :) Hope the boys can get together soon to play. They would have so much fun!
