Monday was our first home study visit for the adoption. This was the one where they have to come see that your house is suitable for children. It was a good visit and lasted about an hour and a half. Now we have a list of paperwork we need to complete. I have to just remember to take it one thing at a time.
Tuesday we headed to our local polling place to exercise our right to vote. The kids were a big hit especially with all of the senior citizens volunteering.
The man giving out the stickers gave the kids one to wear, and Sterling a whole bunch to take.
Alex, had a drum box for the church delivered to our house. Sterling and Ann Elizabeth had lots of fun with it before he had to take it to work.
Ann Elizabeth has been so interested in books and reading lately, which is so fun.
Last photos as a baby! Someone has a birthday tomorrow!
She is also standing by herself for longer periods of time. It won't be long before she takes her first steps.

happy birthday to Ann Elizabeth! She shares a birthday with my mom and 2 days before my sweet Judah! Found your blog through Kimmie's and just saw where y'all are adopting from Ethiopia! Could not be happier for your family. Sit back and enjoy the amazing miracle that the Lord is about to reveal. I'm always available for chats, questions, and prayers :-)
love, Ginger
